Inspired by the imaginative world of steampunk, my jewellery and sculptures blend the elegance of the Victorian era with the intrigue of futuristic invention. I’m endlessly drawn to the neo-Victorian aesthetic, where ornate design meets impossible machinery and fantastical creatures.
This handcrafted Victorian-inspired brooch captures that spirit beautifully. Made from stainless steel filigree findings, a glass vial, stainless steel casing, and a soft internal light, it’s a striking piece of wearable art. The pressed chrome wings are adorned with delicate filigree details and tiny cogs, creating a perfect balance of elegance and mechanical charm.
The brooch fastens securely with a pin and clasp, measuring approximately 4.5 cm in length and 8 cm in diameter. The light is powered by three SR621SW button batteries, neatly housed within the metal casing, and activated by turning the jump ring on the ‘head’.

From my studio in Gateshead, I fuse a love for science fiction with the ornate elegance of neo-Victorian Steampunk. My passion is creative upcycling, breathing new life into broken watches, vintage cogs, and dead lightbulbs by transforming them into intricate clockwork insects and wearable sculptures.
