SAVE THE BEES | Honeybee in the Cherry Blossom | Retro Geometric Insect Wall Art Print

£12.95

An original Illustration of a honeybee in the cherry blossom. Designed in a retro geometric line art style.

This artwork is more than decoration - 10% of profits from this sale will be donated to The Bumblebee Conservation Trust via Work For Good.

Sadly, our bumblebees are in decline because of changes in agricultural practices that have largely removed flowers from the landscape, leaving the bumblebees with little to feed upon. Most UK species have declined greatly in recent years, and two have become extinct in the UK since 1940.

Fortunately, there is much that can be done to benefit bumblebees. At the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, they work to raise awareness of the plight of the bumblebee amongst the general public. In particular, they provide information about bumblebees and work with farmers to help them farm in ways which are sympathetic to bees.
